Privacy policy as from April 2018 including the current requirements of GDPR

What information is collected about me?
Only the minimum information about you is collected when you sign up or have previously signed up for, free reports, blog posts, webinars, or special offers or when you place an order for online products, services, training or events. If you have retained my services or signed up for some content in the past, then it is secure information held is secure in our account and isn’t passed on to any third party. Website usage information is collected using cookies.

If you have had a video call or podcast interview session with Nathaniel C Schooler and you have agreed to it being recorded, then we may use that recording for promotion purposes, you will have been made fully aware of this fact beforehand. If you have received an invoice from me for payment of services, then your information is held on record for accounting purposes. This information is held in my accounting online platform and is available to me and my team and my accountants. You can ask us for any information I hold about you. All enquiries should be emailed to me and will be subject to a £10 fee that can be paid via Paypal. nat@natschooler.com

How long do you keep information for?
I keep information from previous connections for as long as the connections remain active. I do not hold information about people that do not want to continue a working relationship with me, unless these are financial and are needed for accounting purposes. Levels of communication are now internet based via various social platforms.

How is the information about me used?
Information gained on the website is used to send you information you have requested. Your information is never shared with anyone else (other than companies related to processing that data. These are: Paypal, Calendly.com. Email communication is used for sending articles and courses you have subscribed to and they are delivered usually by Mailchimp or similar software that is encrypted and data is transmitted via secure connection.

Automated emails
If you have consented to receive information from me by putting your details on a webform and you no longer wish to receive information from me, you may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. If you have unsubscribed and you are still receiving mail from me it may be that you have subscribed for another product or service using a different email. We do not reinstate your status once you have unsubscribed and you will be deleted from our list immediately.

Access to and deletion of my information
You have the right to request a copy of the information that is held about you and to make corrections to that data. If you would like a copy of your personal information, please contact me nat@natschooler.com

You also have the right to request that I delete any or all of the data I have related to you. However, for financial reasons if you have been invoiced I am legally bound to keep this information for a minimum of 3 years. 6 years if it’s for insurance purposes.

Additional information
Anything discussed by email, by phone or in a video call is confidential, unless you have agreed for the call or consultation to be recorded for promotional use.

I use session cookies on the website. I will use the session cookies to keep track of you whilst you navigate the website. Session cookies will be deleted from your computer when you close your browser.
