Brand you is crucial!

Some business people try to be anonymous or don’t know about the benefits of brand you for job success. Whether you like it or not you have a personal brand and this can be something you craft or it can be something that is controlled by the internet and your past behaviours.

It could be the case that you are without a 1,3 or 5 year life plan. This is not something to worry greatly about but it could be worthwhile to take the time to think about what you would like your life to be like in the future, what do you want to do with your life, where do you want to be?

Brand you for job success is not for me!

I know a very successful businessman who makes sure he doesn’t have a brand, he has made the conscious choice to not have one…for me building my personal brand has been key to my success as I was approached by IBM to become a futurist and to write for their THINKMarketing blog.

It is your choice whether you shape your brand and there are many benefits to this, you can have a more fulfilling career, social life and home life, as we all know they need to be in balance to achieve happiness.

My clients have approached me just because of this as I can create a lot more awareness for any business that I am involved with as we all share each others content. It is also very helpful to have such a big brand on my side in terms of my content scheduling and training around Watson analytics and other platforms it is really useful to keep up with the trends that are happening.

I will be writing more articles to show the exact process that was followed to build my personal brand in the hope that some people may follow it, enabling them to have the career success they desire.
